Using other libraries

Sconul Access

UEL is a member of Sconul and we have access to the Sconul Access scheme where our students and staff can join the scheme and access the physical space and print collections of participating institutional libraries.

Before you do visit another library, you will need to read the information and complete online form at https://access.sconul.ac.uk/sconul-access and wait for a confirmation email from UEL Library. Once you have the email, you will be able to register for access at the library you plan to visit.

Please always check visitor access information and opening times before you visit.

British Library

If you would like to use the Reading Rooms and the collections at the British Library in London and Yorkshire, you will need to register for a Reader Pass. Information on how to register and use the library can be viewed at https://www.bl.uk/visit/
