Register your ORCID iD

Sign up for your ORCID iD now!

Connect with research, and help students engage with both research and researchers.

An ORCID iD is a unique, persistent identifier that distinguishes you from other researchers, ensuring your research outputs can always be reliably traced back to you.

Your record contains details of your professional activities, including employment, publications, and peer review. ORCID iDs can connect to other systems such as repositories and are indexed in major search platforms.

At UEL, we believe it is essential for our researchers to obtain ORCID iDs as soon as possible. These identifiers are displayed in the repository alongside all your research outputs.

Registration is quick and easy: https://orcid.org/register

You can see an example of an ORCID account here: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1825-0097
