Hello and welcome to the Digital First Aid Service! 

The Digital First Aid (DFA) service is here to support you with developing digital skills that will help you with your studies and beyond.  All our Digital First Aiders are students with several years experience of studying at UEL and are here to share their experience with you.

About the DFA and what kind of support can they offer

The DFA team can offer a range of support including the following: 

  • Advice on making the most of your UEL Office 365 account, including using Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc
  • Using and navigating Moodle
  • Turnitin and submitting assignments
  • Accessing e-books 
  • And much more

How to book a drop in session

You can book a session here [opens in a new window].  Bookings can be made for online appointments, or for in-person appointments at either Docklands or Stratford library.  Online appointments are conducted via Teams.   

Support developing your digital skills: 

The Jisc Discovery Tool [opens in a new window], is a useful tool for assessing your digital skills and abilities and highlighting areas for further development. The discovery tool will also signpost you towards some additional support.
