LibFest 2025 draws in 850 visitors!!
A LALS launchpad for student learning and future careers
More than 850 people flocked to Docklands Library on 14 October 2025 for the 2nd LibFest, transforming the library into a vibrant hub of activity and connection. The event featured 34 interactive stalls, workshops, and live demonstrations, from library staff to a wide range of service providers. With over 200 participants engaging with individual stalls, the satisfaction amongst event participants was at 90%.

LibFest activities also produced five student winners this year, including Julia Pruitt who took away goodies from EBSCO, UEL Res Life and IT Services.
"I love that the university has events like this to bring the students together and demonstrate the vast amount of tools that we have to succeed in an engaging way."
