Building opening hours and service availability.

During the Christmas break, both library buildings will be closed on the 25th and 26th of December, and will open between 8am and midnight 7 days a week.

Face-face support will be unavailable from 3pm on Friday 19th December, and from 12 noon on Wednesday 24th December until 9pm on Monday 5th of January.

Current face-to-face support times.

Face-to-face support is currently available at Docklands and Stratford library from 9am to 5pm, Monday - Friday.

From Monday 22nd September until Thursday 18th December, face-to-face support will be available from 9am until 7pm. On Friday 19th December, it will be available from 9am until 3pm.

Online support.

Our online chat service is available 24/7 and monitored by UEL staff during face-to-face service hours.

When UEL library staff are not online, chat queries will be answered by members of a global library cooperative. Cooperative members can respond to any queries immediately, but complex queries may need to be referred to UEL library staff who will respond on their return.
